Fisker has peeled back the sheets to unveil its Surf, a wagon-like derivative of the plug-in Karma sedan.
The Surf shooting brake, claimed to target the premium turf staked out by the Ferrari FF, appears to be worthy of competing with the world's luxury marques. Fisker says the "stunning" Surf delivers on the automaker's "Pure Driving Passion" promise with extended-range capability and "head-turning design." Compared to the Karma, the Surf adds a dash of utility to the mix (more trunk space!), while perhaps sacrificing a bit of style.
Though not officially confirmed for production, back in March, Fisker's chief operating officer, Bernhard Koehler told Automotive World:
After Karma, there will be another car, which we are launching in Frankfurt this year, and selling six months later...We want to keep it under wraps...our dealers are going crazy about it. They love it, and they love the fact that it will be available so soon.
